Keep the furniture that works for you
A sofa that fits your room, an armchair you love or a suite you have enjoyed for years may still have plenty to offer.
We recover two- and three-seater sofas, complete three-piece suites and individual armchairs. We can also discuss several pieces together, whether you want them to match or sit comfortably alongside one another.
Some furniture needs new fabric; other pieces also need attention to springs, webbing, foam or the frame. Photographs help us start that conversation.
A different look or a familiar finish
You may want to retain the character of a traditional piece or update some of its details. Piping, buttons, fringing and feet can be discussed alongside your fabric choice.
Tell us what you value about the piece and what needs changing. We can discuss the likely work and an approximate cost so you can decide whether recovering is right for you.
For the other seats in your home
Dining chairs, headboards and more
Upholstery can make a difference beyond the living room, from a set of dining chairs to window-seat cushions or caravan seating.
We can recover headboards and discuss making one to suit the look you have in mind. Window seats and caravan cushions can be considered around their existing shape, covering and comfort.
Send photographs and any measurements you already have. If there are several items, tell us how many and whether they are all the same size.

Repairs beneath the covering
Springs, webbing and damaged parts of a wooden frame can need attention too. Describe the problem and we’ll advise on what needs a closer look.
Some issues only become visible when the covering is removed. If we find further work, we’ll explain what we have found and what it means for the cost.

Seating for businesses and clubs
We also undertake upholstery for pubs, clubs, golf clubs, dental practices and shops. This can involve individual seats, bench seating or a larger group of items as part of a refit.
Tell us about the space, the number and type of seats, and the work you have in mind. Photographs are useful, especially where there are different seat types or fitted benches. We can then discuss materials and a practical schedule.

Getting your furniture to us
Call first to arrange a drop-off, collection or a visit. Bringing smaller items such as cushions and seat pads to us can help us fit the work in sooner. For larger pieces or work further afield, we’ll discuss the arrangements with you.
